Our team won the LIT Lighting Design Awards 2024 — Hospitality category for Rez Hotel Semarang.
Rez is designed as a tall slender black and white building that contrasts with the colorful city around it, with a monochromatic interior that highlights the fundamental contrast between light and dark.
Lighting expresses this concept throughout the hotel by balancing light and shadow, textures and patterns, with integrated fixtures such as spotlights creating facade shadows and circular downlights following the lobby stair.
